Ingredients
- Sauce ingredients:
- Chicken broth: a quarter cup
- Starch: half a teaspoon
- Soy sauce: 3 tablespoons (lite)
- Honey: 2 tablespoons
- Broccoli: 2 cups (fresh, cut into small florets and washed)
- Red pepper: 1 piece (chopped slices)
- Yellow pepper: 1 piece (chopped)
- Mushrooms: 1 cup (fresh and halved)
- Onion: 1 piece (chopped slices)
- Asian edamame: as desired (frozen)
- Carrots: 1 piece (large size / chopped slices)
- Zucchini: 1 piece (chopped in circles)
- Vegetable oil: 2 tablespoons
- Butter: a tablespoon
- Garlic: 3 cloves (chopped)
- Ginger: 1 tablespoon (fresh and chopped)
How to prepare
- Heat the oil in a wok or a wide skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onions, bell peppers, zucchini, carrots, broccoli, mushrooms, and edamame, and stir quickly for 3 minutes until the vegetables are crispy.
- Add butter, garlic, ginger and stir for 3 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix the broth, starch, soy and honey well, then pour the mixture over the vegetables with the wok.
- Leave the mixture on low heat for 5 minutes, then remove the wok from the heat.
- Serve with chicken or noodles, if desired.
